Pharmacology Juniors Team Wins Alnasser League Championship

Pharmacology Juniors Team has been crowned for the second time as Alnasser University’s football league champion. The winner team played the final game against the Business Administration Freshmen Team at Almuraysi Stadium with Captain Mutlaq Alsayedi as a referee. It was, however, in penalty shootout that the champion grabbed the valuable victory scoring by 6/5.

The penalty shootout came to determine the game’s winner after it ended with both teams having  the same number of goals. Abdullah Barasheed of the Pharmacology Juniors Team scored the first goal at minute 15 of the game’s first half. But the Business Administration Freshmen Team scored back before halftime by player Imad al-Izzi.  Missig many chances, the Pharmacology Team overtook the game till they could score by Hussain Abu Nasser. Again the result was equalized by the Business Administeration’s goal scored by Ahmed Rasheed.
A direct free kick by Ahmed Salim placed Pharmacology a step from victory, yet the Business Administration’s equalizer came by player Ahmed Alkhamiri to make the match end with 3/3 result.
The game then went to penalty shootout, where the Pharmacology  Team won by 6-5 to be crowned as the champion for the second time in a row.
