Raising Smile of Hope on Cancer Patients

A humanitarian visit was conducted by Al-Nasser delegation headed by the Secretary-General, Mr. Ali El-Thayfani, and Dr. Ibtisam El-Mo’ayad (Head of Lab Dept.) to National Center for Tumor Therapy, Sana’a.

The visit took place as part of the University’s committed support to cancer patients. A few weeks ago, a charity bazaar had been conducted under the slogan “Let’s replace the painful tear with a hopeful smile” the proceeds of which went to cancer patients.

Having a look at the Center’s various sections, the delegation rendered material as well as moral support to the patients. They were received by Dr. Afeef El-Nabihi, the Centre’s Manager; Dr. Abdulwahab El-Nihmi, Vice-manager; and staff members.

The Center’s officials and in-patients thanked Al-Nasser for such a kind gesture that certainly left a lasting impression.
