Admin Freshmen: Al-Nasser Football League Champion

Winning by 1-0 against Pharma Sophomore, the Admin Freshmen Team has been crowned as Al-Nasser football league champion, 2015/2016. The final game took place at Elsha’ab Club Stadium last Monday in the presence of: Chancellor Prof. Abdullah Tahish, Dr. Mohammed El-Kuhali (FAFS Dean), Dr. Mansour El-Zabedi (FECS Dean), Dr. Yasser El-Madhaji (Head of Pharmacy Dept) and Mr. Fathi El-Ouqab (Director of Student Affairs).

The exciting game began by Pharma’s pressing attacks on the Admin’s defenses in an attempt to score early. The Admin starring goalkeeper, however, could skillfully turned them all into misses and thus the first half ended with a 0-0 tie.

In the second half, Admin Team had an absolute control over the game by charging many attacks. After five minutes, Player Moh’d Khurais could score a goal by a free kick that was too professional to be managed by the Pharma goalkeeper.

All the Pharma attempts to tie the result thereafter went in vain. The enthusiastic game, therefore, ended with the victory of Admin Freshmen.

Starring players were: Marwan Bahjan of Pharma team and Moh’d Khurais and Yousif El-Ra’ei of Admin team

Thereafter, the Rector handed the League Cup over to Admin Freshmen and the medals to the players of both teams amid the fans’ celebrating cheers.

The Best-player Award was given to Yousif El-Ra’ei whereas the the League top-scorer Award was garnered by Moh’d Khurais.

The Chancellor praised the players’ professional performance as well as the well-organized league games conducted by the responsible committee. He also thanked the cohorts’ representatives as well as Captain Salah El-Zuraiqi (the Referee) for raising the players’ morale.

The winning team players cheerfully celebrated the League Cup inside the campus along with their Dean Dr. El-Kuhali who thanked his students for winning the title, League Champion.

For his part, Dr. El-Madhaji thanked the Pharma team for their brilliant performance throughout the tournament. He considered their arrival to the final game itself a praise-worthy achievement.
