Administration Fourth-Level: ANU 2018/2019 Football League Champion

Under the auspices of the Al-Nasser University , the footbal team of Administration fourth level was announced the university’s 2018/2019 football league champion after beating Pharmacy fifth-level by 6/3 in the final game played at Sha’b-Sana’a playground on Thursday, March 14, 2019.

The match started with the Pharmacy’s intensive attack that resulted in the first goal scored by Khaled El-Amawi’s header. The tie goal was scored by the Administration’s leader Mohammed Khurais via a direct free kick that hit the Pharmacy’s net. Soon after, the Pharmacy’s second goal was scored by the tournament’s scorer Mohammed El-Maqas’s header redirected from the skillful corner kick of Mohammed El-Mulsi. After many attempts by Administration to tie the result, the starring player Yosuf Errada’ei could score with a kick from outside the penalty area. The first half ended with a 2/2 draw. During the halftime, Both Dr. Mohammed El-Kuhali and Dr. Yasser El-Math-haji deliberately entered the playing field so as to back up their respective teams.

At the outset of the second period, the Administration team got a penalty kick which was turned into a goal by Khurais cheering up the FAFS Dean, Dr. El-Kuhali. The fourth goal was scored by Khalil EL-Nemri from Khurais’ skillful through pass.

With the downturn of the Pharmacy’s defense, a sixth goal was scored by Khurais’ shot from the midfield after tackling the opponent defenders and goalkeeper. Towards the last minutes of the game, the Pharmacy team could score their third goal from the penalty area. The game ended with the Administration team winning by 6/3 and, thus, garnering the tournament champion title for the fifth time.

Remarkably, Dr. El-Kuhali (FAFS Dean), Dr. El-Math-haji (Head Of Pharmacy Dept.) and a large number of fans attended the game which was concluded with handing the medals over to the participating footballers. The best-player award was given to the Pharmacy starring player, Mohammed Jamal. The tournament scorer award was given to Mohammed El-Maqas, whereas the best-goalkeeper award was garnered by Mohammed Attayeb of Administration team. The game’s referee was Qusai Naji with the help of the linesman Ala’ Essuhbani.
