IT Dept. Celebrates Global Entrepreneurship Week in Collaboration with Pioneers Foundation
In the presence of Prof Abdullah Tahish, a seminar entitled “Entrepreneurship & Freelancer System” was organized by IT Department of Al-Nasser University in collaboration with Pioneers Foundation. Held at the ANU headquarter on Thursday, 21 Nov 2019, the seminar took place as part of the Global Entrepreneurship Week.
Prof Tahish gave a speech at the outset of the seminar in which he noted to the importance of the entrepreneur self-effort. He stressed, based on his own personal experience, that the clear purpose and goals along with the will to achieve them make anybody able to exceed hindrances and reach the desired end.
The seminar’s program included a presentation on the environment and system of entrepreneurship in Yemen by Mr. Ibrahim Ghurab. Another presentation on Freelancer was given by Ms. Iman Elmaqtari. All of Abdullah Abu Hamid (a Business Administration alumnus), Yosuf El-Amir (an IT student), and Ibrahim Ethaybani (an IT student) reviewed their personal experiences in entrepreneurship.
Moreover, the program included a presentation on Aptech international competition (2019) “TECHWIZ” in which the students of Aptech center at Al-Nasser University participated. The seminar was concluded by presenting thankful certificates to the seminar’s coordinators, rewarding the Aptech diploma top students, and handing participation certificates to the ANU teams taking part in TECHWIZ.
The seminar was held in the presence of Mr. Ali Ethayfani (the Secretary general), Dr. Qais Ennuzaili (Head of I T Department), Mr. Fawaz El-Qubati (Academic Director of Aptech Center at Al-Nasser University), Mr. Hani El-Ghaithi (an I T faculty member), a number of the university’s staff members, and the I T students of the different level at faculty of Engineering and Computer Science.
