Workshop for Reviewing & Upgrading FMS Programs Held by DQAC

In the presence of Prof Abdullah Tahish, the Chancellor, a workshop was organized by Development and Quality Assurance Center for reviewing and upgrading the FMS academic programs (Pharmacy, Nursing, and Medical Labs). The workshop was held at the University headquarter on Thurs, 8 Nov 2022.

At the outset of the workshop, the Chancellor delivered a speech in which he greeted the participants. He noted to the good name and excellent position Al-Nasser University has achieved by virtue of the commitment of its staff and faculty members as well as the curricula designed in compliance with the standards of the Academic Accreditation Council. Moreover, the Chancellor confirmed that the University, guided by its keenness to meet the local and regional labor market, did its best to offer quality learning which would fulfil the binding goal of serving students and the beloved nation as well.

For his part, Prof Omar Eshuja, Dean of Development and Quality Assurance Center, stressed that the University always aspires for quality and excellence guided by its slogan “Steady Steps toward Prominence”. Accordingly, the University has confidently gone on a steady course of designing its programs and syllaba based on the benchmarks of Center for Academic Accreditation and Quality Assurance. He also pointed out that the University, represented by the Chancellor and faculty and staff members, never spares an effort to accomplish quality and development.

The workshop included two presentations by Prof Mohammed Esharjabi, the Chancellor’s Couselor for Academic Accreditation and Computer Programs Supervisor, and Dr. Wafa Elmath-haji, Head of Pharmacy Department. Participants in the workshop comprised: Mr. Ali Ethayfani, the Secretary General, FMS Dean, heads of departments, Dr. Qais Ennuzaili, FECS Vice Dean, a group of FMS faculty members, representatives from the labor market, some FMS graduates, and a number of the University staff members.
