Human Resources Office Organizes Training Session on Professional Skills Necessary for Career Improvement & Institution Performance Promotion

In the presence of Prof Abdullah Tahish, the Chancellor, a training session was organized by the Human Resources Office at Al-Nasser University. The session was held on Thurs, 15 June 2023, at the University’s headquarter under the title, ” Professional Skills Necessary for Career Improvement & Institution Performance Promotion.”

A speech was given at the outset of the event by the Chancellor who greeted the participants and confirmed the University’s keen interest in developing the staff’s professional skills and competencies so as to enhance their performance, thus raising their professional efficiency and achieving distinction for the University.  He also noted to the five academic programs inaugurated by Al-Nasser University last year including: Dentistry, Cybersecurity & Forensic Investigation, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, and Nutrition, by virtue of the staff’s efforts and dedication.

The key lecture was delivered by Prof Mohammed Esharjabi, the Chancellor’s Counselor for Academic Accreditation and Supervisor of Computer Programs. The lecture tackled a number of topics including: the secret behind success in career; what recruiters look for; the skills required for labour market; employability skills; and finally the use of artificial intelligence in achieving job duties.

For his part, Prof Omar Eshuja’, Dean of Development and Quality Assurance Center, gave a speech in which he noted that Al-Nasser staff members are known for their fraternity and team work, the feature that centrally paves the ground for the University’s success and development.

Targeting Al-Nasser’s whole staff members, the training session was concluded with handing participation certificates over to trainees as well as honoring the trainer, Prof Esharjabi, in appreciation of his efforts and excellent performance.
