DQAC Holds Workshop for Formulating University SWOT-Based Strategic Orientations

Under the auspices of Prof Abdullah Tahish, the Chancellor, a workshop was organized by Development and Quality Assurance Center on 12 Ramadhan 1444 AH, corresponding to 3 April 2023. Taking place as part of the preparation works for Al-Nasser University’s Strategic Plan 2023-7, the workshop was meant to formulate the University’s strategic orientations in light of the SWOT analysis.

Giving the opening speech, Prof Tahish pointed out that the success of any institution is determined by its strategic plan which must have accurate vision and mission with assessable and practical objectives. He noted to the significance of strategic planning for keeping up the University’s progress as well as leading position locally and regionally.

The key speech was delivered by Prof Mohammed Esharjabi, the Chancellor’s Counselor for Academic Accreditation and Supervisor of Computer Programs. The workshop’s agenda included a brief report on SWOT analysis results presented by Prof Omar Eshuja, DQAC Dean, an overview on the achieved parts of the strategic plan, and the brainstorming session to formulate the strategic orientations by the participants.

The workshop was held at the University’s headquarter with the participation of deans of faculties, heads of departments, academic superintendents, and staff members. It was concluded with handing certificates over to participants.
