AU Organizes “Cybersecurity and Digital Forensics: Challenges and Future Career” Seminar for Higher School Graduates

In the presence of Prof Abdullah Tahish, the Chancellor, a seminar was organized by Al-Nasser University for the higher school graduates on Monday, 31 July 2023. Held under the slogan, “Cybersecurity and Digital Forensics: Challenges and Future Career,” the seminar took place as part of many academic activities that inaugurate the new academic year 1445 AH/2023-2024.

During the seminar, a speech was given by Prof Tahish in which he noted to the rapid developments recently occurring in the field of information technology. Therefore, he confirmed, Al-Nasser University is doing its best to keep pace with these developments through opening new academic programs that can meet the students’ professional ambitions and help them find promising opportunities in such a vital field of specialty.

The speakers in the seminar included: Prof Mohammed Esharjabi, Chancellor’s Counselor for Academic Accreditation and Supervisor of Computer Programs; Dr. Qais Ennuzaili, FECS Vice Dean; and Dr. Mohammed Eljawdah, a faculty member. They discussed a number of topics regarding cybersecurity and digital forensics as well as the significance of ensuring protection for data and digital systems. They also tackled the current trends in cybersecurity, future prospects, and possible challenges.

The event was held at Faculty of Engineering and Computer Science, Haddah, in the presence of Prof Omar Eshuja, Dean of Development and Quality Assurance Center, Dr. Najeeb Eshurae’I, Head of Civil Engineering Department, and Mr. Suhaib Elyaheeri, the FECS Academic Officer. It was concluded with handing over certificates to participants.
