Journal of Environment and Sustainable Development Studies to be published by Al-Nasser

In conjunction with Arab Association for Environmental Studies, Al-Nasser University has had the endorsement to publish the Journal of Environment and Sustainable Development Studies. This is an international refereed journal which was previously published by Federation of Arab Scientific Research Councils (FASRC) that is located in Khartoum and affiliated to the Arab League.

In its regular meeting held in Khartoum December 14-15, 2015, the Federation officially endorsed Arab Association for Environmental Studies and Al-Nasser University to publish and review the journal. The above-mentioned meeting was attended by Dr. Abdullah Tahish (Chancellor of Al-Nasser University and Secretary-General of the Association) along with representatives from the Arab League states.

Pioneering in its scientific field, the journal has been published by FASRC since 2004 as part of the Federation’s interest in environment and sustainable studies.

Dr. Abdullah Tahish highly valued such a step which confirms the FASRC’s support to the University.

Undoubtedly, the journal would be a valuable contribution to Al-Nasser’s scholarly archive comprising many academic studies in natural and social sciences by scholars from various Arab states.

The current issue of the journal, containing a number of environment and sustainable studies, is to be released in May, 2016.
