Pharmacy Students Visit Research & Test Lab

A scientific visit was organized by Department of Research & Training to the Research and Test Lab at University of Science & Technology. The visit, that took place as part of the FMS’ training program—2016/2017, involved Pharmacy junior students.

Upon arrival, a number of the UST’s officials and technicians welcomed the students who were briefed about the lab before having a tour around its various sections and closely observing their mechanism. They could also identify the different apparatuses used to conduct scientific research.

In addition, the students were introduced to such apparatuses as solubility and tablet devices as well as (UV-SPCTRO, PHLC).

Department of Research & Training is mainly concerned with exposing the students to professional experiences through field training and practical experimentation which are complementary to the theoretical classes.
