Welcome Party at Department of English

In the presence of Dr. Ahmed Saif Muharram (CBT), a welcome party was organized by Department of English, Faculty of Humanities, Al-Nasser University. Held on Tuesday, Nov 7, 2017, the event intended to give welcome to the department’s fresher students.

Opening with the national anthem and Quran recitation, the event’s program started with the welcome speech delivered on behalf of the department’s students by a senior. The students showed their hearty will to provide their fresher colleagues with the necessary support in their study as well as to get acquainted with the department’s regulations.

Dr. Munir Al-Aghberi (Head of English Department) gave a speech in which he greets the freshers whom he urged to actively learn by taking the initiative. He wished them the best of luck and success and extended his thanks to participants for making the event successful.

The event’s program included a number of sections that showed students’ language skills and give much of fun and entertainment. It included: a dramatic show, a quiz, an interview, a presentation, and many other participations all of which were prepared by the English students.

Attendees included Dr. Mohammed El-Kuhali (Dean of FAFS), Dr. Fahd El-Wesabi (Head of I T Department) and a large number of the students of English Department.
