ANU Student Activity Program Starts with Leisure Trips

The 2018/2019 leisure trip program was set out early this week by Student Affair Office with two trips to El-Mufazir Garden at Sana’a.

The first trip was organized on Sunday, 17 Nov 2018 for 125 fresher students from Pharmacy and Nursing Departments. The second trip took place on Monday, 19 Nov 2018 with the participation of 150 students coming from FAFS first and second levels, Business Administration third and fourth levels, Accounting third level, and Administrative Information Systems first level.

According to Mr. Fathi El-Oqab (Director of Student Affairs), the student trip program is to continue up to the end of this month. He confirmed that the trips are part of the student activity program for the present academic year which, in addition, includes a number of off-class activities that go in line with in-class study.

The participants had a lot of fun during the each of the one-day trips. Making use of the garden’s various facilities, they enjoyed swimming, playing football, etc. guided by a number of the University’s staff members as overseers.

According to Omar El-Qershi (a Pharmacy fresher student), the trip took place in a convenient time just before the mid-term tests. He thoughtfully appreciated Al-Nasser’s keen interest in the students’ educational as well as entertainment needs by adopting such a purposeful program of various activities.

Abdulkhaliq El-Hosaini (an Accounting junior student) talked high of the AL-Nasser University and the positive role such activities play in creating the entertaining climate necessary for a student to learn very well. He also hoped that the University will consider developing the students’ individual skills by organizing activities that incite their talents.

The students’ leisure trip program is to go on throughout the next weeks. Many other trips are to be carried out next Saturday for the students of Medical Lab and Community Health Departments to El-Mufazir Garden.
