AIS Students Conclude Training Program at Cac Bank

The students of Administrative Information Systems at Faculty of Administrative and Financial Studies concluded on Thursday, 14 Feb 2019, a training program that was conducted at Cac Bank (Ezzubairi Branch). Lasting for a week, the program targeted the IS second-level students.

The training program involved a number of visits to the Bank’s different sections and departments. The visits exposed the students to the mechanism of the administrative and accounting systems at the Bank’s various departments; namely Human Resource, Marketing, and the General Directorate.

At the end of training, a meeting was held in the presence of a delegation from Al-Nasser University comprising Dr. Mohammed El-Kuhali (FAFS Dean), and Mr. Adam El-Tharhani (Al-Nasser Portal Officer). The delegation was received by Mr. Yahya El-Kebsi (the Acting Executive Officer of the Bank), Mr. Wadee’a Assabri (Director of Marketing Dept.), and Mr. Mufeed Eshami (Director of the Bank’s Technical Office).

During the event, a speech was delivered by Mr. El-Kebsi in which he praised Al-Nasser University’s interest in practical training as well as in getting the students acquainted with the institutions’ real-life work circumstances. He also explained the Bank’s work mechanism under the current political and economic situations which could be adapted to by setting up new depts. designed to handle crises and emergencies. He highlighted the excellent method of learning adopted by Al-Nasser where the student must realize the importance of visiting such institutions and identifying their work circumstances to acquire many practical skills.

For his part, Dr. Mohammed El-Kuhali gave a speech which he started with thanking Cac Bank’s staff for the warm reception as well as the interest in students’ training. He, moreover, noted to the partnership between the economic and educational sectors. In this light,  Al-Nasser is doing its best to enrich the students’ practical knowledge by helping them recognize the nature of banks’ work and systems, how the financial and administrative processes are managed, and how to adapt to the changing situations and economic crises.

At the end of the meeting, Dr. El-Kuhali handed over an honor and thanks certificate presented  from Al-Nasser University to Cac Bank. The certificate was delivered to Mr. El-Kebsi in appreciation of the Bank’s valuable cooperation in training the University’s students.
