8th Scientific Week for Graduation Research Viva Voce at FAFS

In the presence of Prof Abdullah Tahish, the Chancellor, the sessions of the 8th scientific week for the 2020/2021 graduation research viva voce were inaugurated at Faculty of Administrative and Financial Studies with the participation of graduating students. The viva sessions of two research groups were held at Department of Information Systems on Sat, 7 August 2021, while two other sessions were held at Department of Hospital Management on Sun, 8 August 2021.

At the outset of the viva sessions, a speech was delivered by Prof Tahish who expressed his sense of pride of the high quality researches presented by graduates which were prepared in adherence to the scientific research standards and included recommendations of great value to the concerned authorities. He also appreciated the academic efforts made by the FAFS’ faculty members, especially in choosing topics relevant to real life and guiding well the research groups.

Dr. Omar Esh-shuja’, Dean of Development and Quality Assurance Center, addressed the students urging them to avail themselves of the academic staff not only in theoretical learning but also in the practical skills which can be applied at the viva sessions as well as after graduation by representing Al-Nasser University well in the labor market.

For his part, Dr. Fahd Elkhayat, FAFS Dean, confirmed the great attention AL-Nasser University pays to the research viva voce. The students first learn the research methodology as part of the programs’ syllabus. He also extends his sincere thanks to the research guides for their efforts while supervising and following up the graduation researches so that they comply to the standards of research methodology.

Dr. Qais Ennuzaili, Head of Information Technology Department, praised the examination committee’s keen interest in the detailed scientific approach by which the viva voce is delivered. He noted to the great job done by the students towards getting their projects achieved. The viva sessions, he maintained, sharpen the practical skills they acquired throughout the college years and qualify them for postgraduate studies.

The viva sessions were held at the University’s head office in the presence of Dr. Omar Esh-shuja’(DQAC Dean), Mr Ali Ethayfani (Secretary General), Dr Fahd Elkhayat (FAFS Dean), Dr. Mohammed Shawqi (FH Dean), Dr. Qais Ennuzaili, (Head of I T Department), Mr. Salah Eladlah (Head of AS Department), Dr. Mohammed Elkhawlani (an external examiner), Dr. Mohammed Esh-shahethi (a faculty member at HM Department), and Dr. Elezi ELhetami (an external examiner), in addition to the FAFS staff members and students.
