Al-Nasser Football Team Qualifies for Semi-finals in 5th Winter Tournament

AL-Nasser football team qualified for semi-finals in the 5^th Winter Sport Tournament organized by Wahdat-Sana’a Club. Al-Nasser team won by tiebreaker kicks in the game that was played against the team of Modern Sciences University on Mon, 14 Feb 2022, at Whadat-Sana’a Club playground.

The match was highly enthusiastic and competitive. The first halftime ended with 1/0 score for Modern Sciences. For its part, Al-Nasser team made intensive attacks against the opponent goal throughout the second halftime till a tie was achieved with Ihab Kamel’s goal at 19 minute. As a result, the game ended with a 1/1 tie.

The teams had to resort to the tiebreaker which was won by Al-Nasser. The goalkeeper, Abdulmajeed Doumah, could prevent every shot of the opponent penalty kicks. The player, Wa’el Eshara’bi could score a goal for Al-Nasser to win the game by 2/1.

The game took place in the presence of Mr. Murshid Al-Aghberi, Director of HR Office who is also in charge of sports activities, and Mr. Khaled Elabsi, the IT Specialist.
