English Department Organizes Open Day

In the presence of Prof Abdullah Tahish, the Chancellor, the Open Day was organized by students of English Department at Faculty of Humanities, Al-Nasser University. The event took place at the University’s headquarter on Mon, 14 March 2022.

In his speech, Prof Tahish valued the efforts of the Head of English Department to develop the department and promote the students’ proficiency. Addressing the students, the Chancellor urged them to avail themselves of the competent faculty members to enrich their language skills because their specialty of Translation requires a lot of hard work and practices towards proficiency.

For his part, Dr. Munir Al-Aghberi, Head of English Department, extended his sincere thanks to the Chancellor for his constant support for the department’s activities. He also praised the students’ excellent performance that appeared in their proficient language skills. According to him, the department feels proud of them as brilliant graduates who would represent the University well in the labor market.

The event’s program included many competitions, games, art shows, and informative as well as entertaining presentations. The participant students excelled in showing their skills in English. The event was concluded with handing rewards over to the 4^th level students in addition to honoring the faculty members taking part in the event.

The event was held in the presence of Mr. Ali Elthayfani, Secretary General, Prof Omar Eshuja’, Dean of Development of Quality Assurance Center, Dr. Mohammed Shawqi, Dean of Humanities, Dr. Munir Al-Aghberi, Head of English Department, Dr. Qais Ennuzaili, Head of I T Department, some faculty and staff members, and the students of English Department.
