Prime Minister Partakes in Al-Nasser 1443 AH/ 2021-2022 Convocation

The Prime Minister, Prof Abdulaziz Saleh Ben Habtour, participated in the annual convocation held by Al-Nasser University on Wed, 29 Rabi al-Akhir 1444 AH corresponding to 23 Nov 2022. The annual event was organized to celebrate the graduates for the academic year 1443 AH/ 2021-2022 from Faculty of Medical Sciences, Faculty of Engineering and Computer Science, Faculty of Administrative and Financial Studies, and Faculty of Humanities.

The celebration was held in the presence of Prof Abdullah Tahish, the Chancellor, Dr. Fuad Abdurrazaq, the Executive Officer of IT Department at MOHESR, Prof Mohammed Esharjabi, the Chancellor’s Counselor for Academic Accreditation and Supervisor of Computer Programs, Mr. Ali Ethayfani, Secretary General, Prof Omar Eshuja, Dean of Development and Quality Assurance Center, Prof Abdulkareem Ezzumor, FMS Dean, Prof Khaled Elhadad, FD Dean, Dr. Mansour Ezzabadi, FECS Dean, Dr. Fahd Elkhayat, FAFS Dean, Dr. Mohammed Shawqi, FH Dean, heads of departments, and faculty and staff members.

A speech was given by Prime Minister, Prof Abdulaziz Saleh Ben Habtour, in which he extended words of thanks to Al-Nasser University represented by its Chancellor, deans, and heads of departments who have been committed to producing proficient graduates capable of competing in the labor market all over the country. He also praised the Chancellor who dedicatedly led the University to such a prominent position making it a source of pride for everyone.

Furthermore, the Prime Minister presented his warm congratulations to graduates along with their respectable families who celebrate on such an occasion the achievement of academic degrees that must solve part of the community’s problems. He pointed out that the graduates, upon completing the oath, would be an essential factor of development nationally and regionally. He concluded his speech with thanking whosoever partook in making the convocation as well as the graduates of whom the nation would be proud so long.

“Yemeni universities,” he maintained, “could, in a short period, give a good example of a national academic success. Consequently, celebrating the graduation of 440 notes to the great job done by Al-Nasser University, private universities, and the national higher education sector; thanks to whosoever contributed to the learning and training of the graduates throughout their college years and up to the present moment.”

The Prime Minister added, “We highly appreciate Al-Nasser University’s advanced position of offering a typical learning in every possible scientific field. We have participated in the scientific exhibition that the University organized on Pharmacy and Pharmaceuticals. It gives a positive indication to the honorable role played by Al-Nasser, along with its faculty and graduates, in improving the status of the national health sector. Al-Nasser has, in a short period, occupied a leading position amid the private universities due to the great sense of commitment of the Chancellor, deans of faculties, heads of departments, and faculty members who do their best to reconstruct the dignity of their nation and people.”

For his part, the Chancellor, Prof Abdullah Tahish, gave a hearty welcome to the guests and thanked the audience for sharing with Al-Nasser University the merry convocation; namely the Prime Minister, Prof Abdulaziz Saleh Ben Habtour, the chief guests, the graduates’ families, and the faculty and staff members.

In his speech, he confirmed that Al-Nasser University is one of the universities which were established to have accredited outcomes nationally and regionally. Therefore, the University has applied for the international accreditation and is always keen to produce excellent graduates scientifically, professionally, and morally.

He noted to the University’s celebration of 445 graduates of the variable medical, engineering, IT, administrative and humanities disciplines and who represent Al-Nasser’s valuable gift to our beloved nation. The Chancellor extended his thanks to the graduates as well as their families who have struggled in such hard times to make such an elite as a treasured addition to the national wellbeing. He also appreciated the efforts of organizing such an outstanding celebration by the University’s staff members.

Hosted by Suad Elkhulaidi and Mohammed Erra’e, the event’s program included reciting the professional oath by the graduates, the graduates address by Yosuf Eljailani, in addition to many other entertaining shows by Hael Essawdi and Fan & Hadharah Band. It was concluded with rewarding the top-ranking students and graduates of all disciplines.
