Al-Nasser University Holds “Steady Steps toward Promising Future” Seminar for High School Graduates

In the presence of Prof Abdullah Tahish, the Chancellor, a seminar was organized by Al-Nasser University under the slogan “Steady Steps toward Promising Future” on Tues, 25 July 2023. Targeting the high school graduates, the seminar took place as part of the inaugural week activities celebrating the beginning of academic year 1445 AH (2023/2024).

In a speech he gave at the outset, Prof Tahish greeted the participants noting that to the three main goals of Al-Nasser University: education, research and community service. He maintained that the University seeks to implement the above goals through cultivating the talented minds which would hopefully develop the homeland and build its future. He also confirmed that the University is committed to offering its educational services in accordance with the national and international accredited standards. The Chancellor concluded his speech with extending to participants his sincere wishes of success and gaining maximum benefits.

The key lecture was delivered by Prof Mohammed Esharjabi, the Chancellor’s Counselor for Academic Accreditation and Supervisor of Computer Programs. He introduced the participants to creating a promising future through discussing such topics as: creating a promising future by choosing an appropriate major, becoming an excellent student, and preparing for an outstanding career.

Prof Omar Eshuja, Dean of Development and Quality Assurance Center, gave a brief review of Al-Nasser University. He reviewed the historical progress of Al-Nasser as a university distinct with its scientific and practical education. He also reviewed the variable faculties and academic programs in addition to their salient features. Prof Eshuja urged the participants to avail themselves of the inaugural week activities and conceive an idea about the different departments, programs, and student activities. He counselled them to take part in the seminars and contests as well as apply for the offered scholarships and discounts.

The event was held in the presence of Mr. Ali Ethayfani, Secretary General, Prof Khaled Elhadad, Dean of Dentistry, Dr. Fahd Elkhayat, FAFS Dean, Dr. Mohammed Shawqi, FH Dean, Dr. Qais Ennuzaili, FECS Vice Dean, heads of departments, and staff members. The seminar was concluded by handing certificates over to participants.
