Chancellor Honors IT Students Participating in Aptech Competition TECHWIZ 4

The Chancellor, Prof Abdullah Tahish, Honored on Wed, 23 August 2023, the IT students participating in the 4^th international technological competition TECHWIZ 4 organized by Aptech Center, India for its international branches in 2023.

The Chancellor addressed the teams talking about his sense of pride over the participants’ efforts in the 3^rd and 4^th editions of the competition which reflect their excellence in the field of technology and IT. He also noted that participating in such events promotes the name of Al-Nasser University and proves the competence of its students at the international levels.

For his part, Dr. Qais Ennuzaili, Vice Dean of Faculty of Engineering and Computer Science and Head of Aptech Center in Yemen, pointed out that TECHWIZ is a competition organized annually by Aptech International Center-India. It engages participants from all over the world with the purpose of encouraging technology innovation and invention. It also offers the participants a chance to improve their skills and exchange knowledge with each other. Four teams of IT-Aptech students at Al-Nasser University participated in the present event in the fields of: designing and developing website, developing web apps, and developing mobile app.

The honoring session was held at the University’s headquarter in the presence of Dr. Hussein Albahji, Vice Chancellor, Mr. Ali Ethayfani, Secretary General, Prof Omar Eshuja, Dean of Development and Quality Assurance Center, and Mr. Anas Elhamadi, Aptech Officer at IT Department.
