CHANGING PROGRAM

If you wish to move from one bachelor degree course to another, student will most likely need to inform the university before the term starts with at least a month.

If you would like to transfer his/her courses that already completed to another program, please inform your school receptionist to direct you to the right person in order to help you. Please be noted that if you decided to change your program when the program starts you can only change your program within 2 weeks after the program starts and you can change your program one time only. If this is your second time you want to change your program, you won’t be able to do so until you get an approval letter from the dean himself to the registration head department as long as it’s within the 2 weeks of the program starting. Therefore, we ask you in order to prevent this from happening, we recommend you to see an academic advisor before making any decision. You can contact the academic advisor here : advisor@alu.edu

What about ‘internal transfers’ ?

Some faculties list the course transfers that are allowable within their own faculty:

  • Faculty of Business & Finance
  • Faculty of Medical Sciences
  • Faculty of Engineering & Computer Sciences
  • Faculty of Humanities

If you are in any doubt about the avenue of application, you should consult the Faculty that manages the course you would like to enter.
