COUNSELING
Our confidential counselling service can support you through any personal or academic difficulties and develop constructive ways forward. There are three main counselling pathways which new clients can access. Within these pathways the counselling service has developed a number of therapeutic interventions. These will be discussed with you at your initial appointment. Full-time and part-time students are welcome.
Counselling is made for you !

These may be personal, relationship difficulties, homesickness, depression, stress, or course-related concerns. We may also refer you to a specialized agency for more particular support. Please contact the university counseling service on : counseling@alu-edu.com

Usually 45 minute is the initial conversation with a member of the counselling team to discuss your situation and how counselling might help. There is no right or wrong way to present your issues. The counsellor is not there to judge but to listen to you carefully and sensitively. As this is a short session, think about how you might be able to give a concise summary of what is wrong. We will then try and work out the most appropriate way forward.
