Al-Nasser Football Team Ties Against Modern Sciences

A three-goal tie was the result of the football game that Al-Nasser team played against its Modern Sciences rival on Mon, 15 March 2021, on Wahdat-Sana’a Club’s playground. The game took place as part of the 2^nd group matches in universities football competition of the 4rth Winter Tournament organized by Wahdat-Sana’a Club.

Starting with a mutual zeal, the game was remarkably excelled by Al-Nasser team who could score a goal by Sadeq El-Moujani’s header from the excellent pass of Captain Mohammed Khurais.

At the outset of the 2^nd halftime, the Modern Sciences team increased its attack in attempts to tie the result. Al-Nasser, however, availed itself of a corner kick played by Mohammed Jamal to score another goal by Yosuf Erra’ei. 

Modern Sciences charged intense attacks which led to scoring their 1^st goal. Soon after, Al-Nasser scored the 3^rd goal by Mohammed Jamal form Yosuf Erra’ei’s passed ball. The Modern Sciences team could however tie the result with two additional goals so that the game ended up with a 3/3 scores.

With this result, Al-Nasser team gains one point. The last round resulted also in a tie against Future University team. Al-Nasser is supposed to play against Essaidah University team in the tournament’s upcoming games.
