AL-Nasser Football Team Won 1st Game against Yemen & Gulf University

The football team of Al-Nasser University made a due victory against the team of Yemen & Gulf University by 1/0 score in the first match of the first round of the second winter football championship organized by Wahdat-Sana’a Club. The game was held in the stadium of Wahdat-Sana’a Club on Tuesday evening, 22 Jan 2019.

Starting with both teams charging attacks to score, the first half of the match ended with a 0/0 tie result. At the outset of the second half, the starring player Yosuf El-Rada’ei could score a goal for Al-Nasser team to be followed by many scoring misses by both teams. The game ended with a 1/0 result for Al-Nasser.

The result gives three points to Al-Nasser Team which now ranks first in its group due to the 2/2 tie result of the game between the teams of Future and Dar-es-Salam universities. Al-Nasser is to play its next game against Future university on the same playground next Tuesday, 29 Jan 2019.
