Al-Nasser Holds 2nd Celebration of FAFS and FH Fresher & Top Students

In the presence of Prof Abdullah Tahish, the Chancellor, the second celebration to welcome the 2021/2022 fresher students and reward the 2020/2021 top students at Faculties of Administrative and Financial Studies, and Humanities was held in Sana’a Orphanage Hall, at Ennahdha neighborhood, on Sun, 5 Dec 2021.

Addressing the audience, Prof Tahish confirmed the high quality measures that Al-Nasser University is committed to in the educational services it offers. It is part of the University’s commitment to the beloved country as well as its students who would hopefully participate in the national wellbeing. Presenting his congratulations to the top students, the Chancellor urged them to the freshers to take them as examples and work hard so as to be competent enough to keep up the University’s name in the labor market.

For his part, Dr. Fahd Elkhatat (FAFS Dean) gave a speech in which he congratulated the top students accentuating that they are a source of pride for the University, their families, and the community in general. He also counselled the fresher students to follow the top students’ example, start over steadfastly, and comply to regulation within the campus.

Presented by the starring hosts Belal El-Arabi and Basmah Elmath-haji, the event’s program included a number of superb shows: a video show of the University, the top student speech by Alya Elmuqri, an English speech by Ibtihal Elhafashi, the fresher student speech by Mohammed Abdulghani, in addition to folklore and artistic shows. The event was concluded by handing over honor certificates and plaques to top students.

As for the students’ impression over the celebration, Salah Darem (the 3^rd top student at Hospital Management 4^th level) noted to the great attention Al-Nasser pays to its students by organizing such events which combine the academic practical performance and the entertaining activities. It endows students with a strong motivation to study hardly.

Ahd Elma’meri (the 1^st top student of English-Translation 3^rd level), presented   her thanks for the efforts and services offered by Al-Nasser University to its students, especially the constant support and encouragement by the faculty members who are keen to make learning more practical so that students can get the maximum benefits.

For her part, Sundus Elbeshari (the 3^rd top student of Accounting 3^rd level) noted to the University’s kind gesture for the top students who feel honored and the freshers who would be inspired to follow the example of their outstanding seniors.

The event was held at Sana’a Orphanage Hall in the presence of Prof. Omar Eshuja (Dean of Development and Quality Assurance Center), Mr. Ali Ethayfani (Secretary General), Dr. Fahd Elkhayat (FAFS Dean), Dr. Mohammed Shawqi (FH Dean), Dr. Munir Al-Aghberi (Head of English Department), Mr. Salah Eladlah (Head of Administrative & Financial Sciences Department), the University’s staff, and the fresher and top students’ families.
