Al-Nasser Holds 2nd Training Session Introducing High School Graduates to Future Careers and Promising Computer Disciplines (Cybersecurity & Digital Forensics, Artificial Intelligence, and Data Science)

Under the auspices of Prof Abdullah Tahish, the Chancellor, the 2nd training session was held at Al-Nasser University on Sun, 28 August 2022. Targeting the high school graduates, the event comprised a training course titled “Future Careers and Requirements: Students’ Key to Success” and a lecture introducing the promising computer disciplines (Cybersecurity & Digital Forensics, Artificial Intelligence, and Data Science). The event took place as part of a series of activities and training courses that the University organized in coincidence with the beginning of the new academic year 1444 AH (2022/2023).

The event’s program included a speech by the Chancellor in which he shared some highlights of his success story and the different stages of his learning and professional life that began with elementary education at a distant native village in Sadah Governorate bordering with Suadi Arabia. Reviewing the variable difficulties and hindrances he encountered at that distant area up to the moment he became the Chancellor of Al-Nasser University, Prof Tahish pointed out that the course of success is not an easy one, yet where there is a will there is a way.

The training course was delivered by Prof Mohammed Esharjabi, the Chancellor’s Counselor for Academic Accreditation and Computer Program Supervisor. He tackled such topics as the challenges encountered by university students at the personal and academic levels as well as the skills they need for success.

A speech was also given by Dr. Qais Ennuzaili (Head of I T Department) in which he talked about the salient features of the promising academic computer programs launched by Al-Nasser University: Cybersecurity & Digital Forensics, Artificial Intelligence, and Data Science.

Meanwhile, the Translation students of English Department presented some language entertaining shows by which they introduced the audience to Translation program and displayed their proficient English skills.

The event was held in the presence of Mr. Ali Ethayfani, Secretary General, Prof Omar Eshuja, Dean of Development and Quality Assurance Center, Prof Abdulkareem Ezzumor, FMS Dean, Dr. Fahd Elkhayat, FAFS Dean, Dr. Mohammed Shawqi, FH Dean, heads of departments, staff members, and a large number of students. It was concluded with handing participation certificates to participants.
