Al-Nasser Ranks Second-best Yemeni University

For the third time, Al-Nasser maintained its position as the second-best Yemeni university in the ranking conducted by Ranking Web of World Universities (www.webometrics.info). According to this semi-annual ranking, Al-Nasser had an advanced position among the regional and international universities.

The Webometrics , also known as Ranking Web of World Universities, is a ranking system for the world’s universities based on a multiple indicator that takes into account both the volume of the Web contents (number of web pages and files) and the visibility and impact of these web publications according to the number of external inlinks (site citations) they received. The ranking is published semi-annually by the Cybermetrics Lab, a research group of the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC) located in Madrid.

The University’s administration availed itself of the occasion to congratulate its academic and administrative staff who undoubtedly contributed to such a great success. It, besides, directed the Electronic Gate Office to further upgrade the University’s website services towards getting an international prominence.
