Al-Nasser University Holds 2020/2021 Convocation

Under the auspices of Mr. Hussein Hazeb, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Al-Nasser University held the 2020/2021 convocation on Sunday, 6 Feb 2022. The event took place at Elnukhbah Function Hall – Sana’a to celebrate the graduation of 372 students from Faculty of Medical Sciences, Faculty of Engineering and Computer Sciences, Faculty of Administrativ

e and Financial Studies, and Faculty of Humanities.

The event was organized in the presence of Mr. Hazeb (Minister of Higher Education), Prof Ali Sharaf Eddeen (Vice Minister of Higher Education), Prof Abdullah Tahish (the Chancellor), Mr. Abdulhameed Elhadi (Member of Advisory Council), Mr. Mohammed Elwadei (Director of Educational Institutions at the Judicial Guard Office), Mr. Mohammed Ethayfani (Vice CEO at the Judicial Guard Office), Mr. Ali Ethayfani (Al-Nasser University’s Secretary General), Prof Omar Eshuja (Dean of DQAC), deans of faculties, heads of departments, staff members, and the graduates and their families.

A speech was delivered by Minister of Higher Education in which he greeted the audience and congratulated the graduates and their families who had toiled to see their sons and daughters at this special moment as competent professionals in the labor market and active participants in the national development.

In his words, “Al-Nasser University always has something to surprise us. Such a large number of graduates notes to the University’s steady progress under the leadership of Prof Tahish who never spares an effort to improve the University. We, in Ministry of Higher Education, stand by him and his team of deans of faculties and heads of departments and are ready to support them so far as to keep the University ahead.”

For his part, Prof Tahish gave a hearty welcome to the guests and thanked the audience for sharing with Al-Nasser University the merry convocation; namely, Minister and Vice Minister of Higher Education, chief guests, graduates’ families, and the University’s faculty and staff members.

The Chancellor pointed out that the University is celebrating the graduation of 372 students from the various disciplines of Medicine, Engineering, Information Technology, Finance, Management, and Humanities. They had received academic, professional, and practical learning to become competent and qualified enough to contribute to the national wellbeing and hopefully draw the promising colors of the future Yemen which would be happy in spite of its vicious enemies.

Hosted by Adnan Eshara’bi, the event’s program included reciting the professional oath by the graduates in addition to many other entertaining shows. It was concluded with rewarding the top-ranking students of all disciplines.
