Al-Nasser University Takes Part in Mawlid Football Championship

Al-Nasser University took part in the football championship organized on the occasion of Mawlid (Prophet’s Birthday Commemoration). The opening games took place on Thurs, 14 Oct 2021, at Wahdat-Sana’a Club playground in Sana’a.

Four football teams participate in the event including: Al-Nasser University, University of Science and Technology, Azal University, and Yemeni University.

In the 1^st game, University of Science and Technology played against Yemeni University. The former won by 3/0 due to the latter’s late arrival to the playground.

In the 2^nd match, Al-Nasser team played against Azal. From the start, Al-Nasser was in control of the game till a goal was scored by Ihab Kamel at the seventh minute. Many goals were scored thereafter: 3 by Khaled Elamawi, 1 by Mohammed Ettayeb, and 1 by Anas Elahmadi. The first half ended with Al-Nasser being ahead by 6 goals.

In the second half, Al-Nasser team carried on its attack on Azal and scored 3 goals by Khaled Elamawi, Wael Elbadani, and Amran Noaman. The match ended with the victory of Al-Nasser by 9/1.
