ANU 2018/2019 Football League Kicks off

The internal football league of AL-Nasser University for the academic year 2018/2019 kicked off Sat morning, 2 March 2019 on El-Moraisi Stadium. 16 football teams that represent the university’s different departments are competing for the league champion title. Four matches were held at the outset of the league. In the first match, Pharmacy Second-level played against IS First-level. The former won by 13/1 goals. In another game, Administration Fourth-level could beat Pharmacy First-level by 13/1 too. In the third game, Accounting B won by 3/0 against IT. Pharmacy Fourth-level could also beat Administration Second-level A by 9/1. Many footballers starred throughout the four opening matches. According to Mr. Mohammed Khurais (the league coordinator), the  participant teams have the spirit of competition as they all aspire for winning the championship. He thanked the University’s board for organizing such a competition-motivating activities amid students.
