ANU Holds 2nd Fresher & Top Students Celebration of FECS, FAFS, and FH Faculties of Engineering and Computer Sciences, Administrative and Financial Studies,

In the presence of Prof Abdullah Tahish, the Chancellor, the second celebration to welcome the 2020/2021 fresher students and reward the 2019/2020 top students at Faculties of Engineering and Computer Sciences, Administrative and Financial Studies, and Humanities was held on Wed, 2 Dec 2020.

Addressing the fresher students, Prof Tahish urged them to study hard confirming the University’s keen interest in having competent and professional graduates so as to achieve the sublime goal of serving the nation. He also congratulated the top students wishing them more success and excellence.

For his part, Dr. Fahd El Khayat, FAFS Dean, pointed out how Al-Nasser University, with all its staff, is doing its best to offer the best educational aids to meet the students’ expectations and help them learn well. He also gave some advices to the fresher students which would hopefully help them derive the maximum use of their study.

Presented by the starring hosts Belal El-Arabi and Basmah Elmath-haji, the event’s program included a number of superb shows: the top student speech by Bushra Essalehi, an English speech by Ibtihal Elhafashi, the fresher student speech by Rana Nabeel, a video show of the University, in addition to folklore and artistic shows. The event was concluded by handing over honor certificates and plaques to top students.

As for the students’ impression over the celebration, Alya’ Dhafran (the 1st top student at AIS 3rd level) confirmed that the event endows students with a strong motivation. She asked the fresher students to follow the top students’ example, study hard, and be dedicated to learning provided that the present stage is crucial for self-development and unleash one’s potential in specialty.

For her part, Afnan Mujahed (of Hospital Management 1st level), praised the excellent celebration which reflects the University’s interest in students. She noted to her ambition to be outstanding provided that she has already had a good impression about the university and its educational mechanism.

Both Mohammed Qais and Amer Ethayfani (the 1st and 2nd top rankers respectively at Sharia dept.) thanked the University’s board, faculty’s deanship and whosoever help them achieve success.

The event was held at Sana’a Orphanage Hall in the presence of Dr. Anwar Maso’ud (Dean of Development and Quality Assurance Center), deans of FECS, FAFS, and FH, heads of departments, faculty and staff members, and the fresher and top students’ families.
