The Bachelor of Nursing is a professional program in the health care field; it's the study that combines the art of caring with scientific skills and knowledge. The study of clinical nursing requires that students spend considerable time undertaking hands-on experience in on-campus clinical laboratories and within hospitals and other off-campus clinical settings. The Bachelor of Nursing program includes science and social science papers related to health, which is integrated into nursing knowledge. Clinical learning takes place in many different areas including surgical, emergency, medical, mental health and primary care services and our students are supported throughout their clinical experience by experienced registered nurses employed as clinical teachers. Nursing classes will include the following topics:

- Pharmacology in nursing practice
- Professional Roles and Dimension of Nursing

Today's nurses are reflective practitioners who must not only react to illness and stress, but also be technically skilled, proactive and able to work in partnership with others in helping people have healthier lives. Nursing students will develop valuable skills in clinical reasoning, client care, communication, judgement and research in a course that offers extensive clinical experience through a variety of local and international health agencies.The aim of the Bachelor of Nursing degree is to prepare graduates who will be knowledgeable and skillful professional nurses, able to practice in a range of settings. Nursing graduates are the professional currency in contemporary communities and engage in nursing partnerships with people experiencing health/illness events using evidence-based strategies.
Bachelor of Nursing has wide number of practical sessions where students are required to apply what it’s been taught in classes; therefore, students are required to attend and pass these practical sessions. A variety of teaching and learning strategies are used including lectures, seminars, workshops, tutorials, and training lectures at the laboratories. Students are expected also to read textbook materials and do assigned homework. Courses in general are assessed separately using a mixture of examinations, coursework, practical laboratory training tests and projects.
Nursing degree creates national and international opportunities in a range of health service areas, such as acute hospital care, mental health, rehabilitation, aged care, community-based care and rural and remote services. It also provides an excellent foundation for further education and practice in specialist areas of acute medical/surgical nursing, emergency nursing, intensive care, midwifery, pediatrics, peri-operative, mental health, palliative care, oncology, wound care and other areas.
