Capstone Projects’ Viva at FAFS: Fourth Scholarly Week

Sponsored by Al-Nasser University’s board, the fourth scholarly week was conducted at Faculty of Administrative & Financial Studies. Students of all departments turned up for the viva voce of their capstone projects on September 12, 2017.

Attending the viva session, Prof. Abdullah Tahish (the Chancellor) gave a speech in which he stressed that research projects represent the benchmark by which students are to be assessed.  They, moreover, help the students learn the proper research methodology and make easy preparing dissertation for postgraduate studies.

The Chancellor praised the FAFS’ deanship and faculty for bringing out such competent students. He felt proud to attend the viva sessions that are distinct with their academic atmosphere.

For his part, Dr. Mohammed El-Kuhali (FAFS Dean) appreciated the University’s generous support for the college’s academic activities. He also thanked the research groups as well as the faculty members working hard to upgrade Information Systems Department the outcomes of which surly go in line with the occupational market’s requirements.

Dr. Najeeb Abu EL-Rejal (a supervisor of the research that tackled the topic of Al-Nasser research projects website) confirmed that the studies presented within the session could best compromise the theoretical and practical aspects. He hoped that the interests might pave the students’ way towards a promising postgraduate scholarship.

Furthermore, Dr. Majed El-Aleemi (PhD in Information Systems) confirmed that the studies done by the I S students at Al-Nasser University qualifies them well for the job of developing and designing commercial web systems.

Dr. Rashad  El-Qasimi (a faculty member) noted to the great valuable efforts made by research students and supervisors alike. The resulting studies represent a typical addition to the University’s academic archive.

Conclusively, Mr. Abu El-Rejal (an assistant supervisor and faculty member) pointed out that the students could overstep all arising difficulties while preparing their projects. They, therefore, proved their ability to learn and be creative in their major—Information Systems.
