Ceremony Held by FAFS & FH to Honor High-ranking Students & Welcome Freshers

In the presence of Dr. Ahmed Saif Muharram (CBT) and Prof Abdullah Tahish (the Chancellor), the second ceremony to honor the 2017/2018 high-ranking students and welcome the current year freshers was organized by Faculties of Administrative and Financial Studies and Humanities on Thursday, 22 November 2018.

Delivering a speech on the occasion, Prof Tahish greeted the audience and offered his congratulations to the top-ranking students and wished them a further success. Addressing the fresher students to take their outstanding seniors as examples, the Chancellor noted to the University’s goal to produce excellent graduates so as to meet the requirements of the community and labor market as well as to keep pace with progresses.

He, moreover, pointed out to the distinct educational quality of Al-Nasser University which had come a long way in course specification and program description that go in line with quality and academic accreditation standards. He confirmed the ANU’s institutional system complying with the rules and regulations of Ministry of Higher Education.

For his part, Dr. Mohammed El-Quhali (FAFS Dean) congratulated the ranking students of both faculties urging them to carry on, improve their competencies, and nurture gifts so as to play a key role in the national development. He advised the fresher students to start with hard work and commitment keeping in mind the national development and working towards being always ahead armed with learning.

Giving a speech on behalf of the ranking students, Abdulkhaleq El-Husaini and Yusra El-Raza’ thanked whosoever contributed to their success. They talked about Al-Nasser students’ strong will to work hard, learn, and be brilliant as well as their keen interest in taking part in the national development and progress.

The event’s program included a number of entertaining shows prepared by the university students and presented by the starring hosts Belal El-Arabi and Basmah El-Math-haji with the participation of professional teams who made a number of artistic performances. The ceremony was concluded by handing honor certificates over to the top students of the various levels.

As for the students’ feedback on the event, Shayma’ Ana’am (the third ranker of Business Administration Juniors) talked about how the great event is motivating to the outstanding and fresher students.

For his part, Mohammed Moqbel (the first ranker of Business Administration first-level) thanked Al-Nasser University for its commitment to the establishment of a powerful education that helps students contribute to the scientific and social development and achieve a promising career.

Mr. Mohammed Naser (one of the parents) noted that the event was great as the efficiency, modesty, and concern of  the University’s directorate turned out clearly. He also highlighted the powerful education and good name of Al-Nasser University.

Expressing her sense of appreciation for the ANU’s considerate interest in students, Sarah El-Baydhani (the second ranker of English Seniors) thanked whosoever partook in organizing the ceremony.

Finally, Ihab Essorori (the third ranker of IS Juniors) stressed that such an event would increase the students’ competitive spirit and urge them to be more excellent in the next semesters too.

The event was held at the function hall of the Orphan Development Foundation at El-Nahdha neighborhood in the presence of Mr. Ali El-Thayfani (Secretary General), Dr. Munir Al-Aghberi (Head of English Department) Mr. Salah El-Adlah (Head of Administrative Studies Department) many faculty and staff members, and a large number of students along with their parents.
