Chancellor Follows up Final Exams Inspection

Going on in his follow-up of the 2017/2018 final exams progress, prof. Abdullah Tahis, the Chancellor, conducted an inspecting visit to the FAFS’ exam halls on May 8, 2018.

The Chancellor checked over the jobs of the various committees in charge of the final exams. Praising the committees’ good compliance with the scheduled responsibilities, he appreciated their efforts providing an appropriate exam environment for student.

Touring the exam halls, he was keen to ask for the students’ feedback on the exams, the questions’ agreement with the syllabus, and the attendance of subject instructors to clarify the examinees’ doubts. He confirmed the university’s will to solve any problem they might face.

Urging the students to take interest in learning and make a maximum use of the University’s facilities, he also noted to the ANU’s high-quality learning since producing competent graduates represents the real profit that the University aspires for.

The Chancellor was escorted by Dr. Mohammed Shawqi (Dean of Humanities), and Dr. Mohammed El-Kuhali (FAFS Dean). Noting to the further efforts carried on to improve the learning outcomes and quality measures, the latter pointed out that the FAFS deanship, in collaboration with the University’s board, accomplished all the tasks assigned throughout the second semester. FAFS Dean, moreover, extended his thanks to the ANU board, faculty and staff members, and the University personnel for their contribution to the successful implementation of the second semester’s plan culminated by exams.
