Chancellor Inspects the 1444 1st Semester Progress at Computing & IT Department

An inspecting visit was made by Prof Abdullah Tahish, the Chancellor, on Sun, 18 Sep 2022, to the labs and study halls of Computing and IT Department and Aptech Center at Faculty of Engineering and Computer Sciences. The visit aimed at following up the progress of the 1st semester 1444AH/2022-3 for 1st level students of IT, Cybersecurity & Digital Forensics, Artificial Intelligence, and Data Science.

The Chancellor listened during the visit to the students’ feedback over the learning process in Computing and IT programs. He noted to the importance of the promising computing specialties for future careers in the labor market provided that they keep pace with the rabid developments in information technology. He also counselled the students to be hardworking and dedicated to learning and wished them the best of success.

Prof Mohammed Esharjabi, the Chancellor’s Counselor for Academic Accreditation and Computer Programs Supervisor, pointed out to the various stages through which those programs had been developed, their importance, and the specified outcomes. He wished the students the best of luck and achieved goals.

For his part, Dr. Qais Ennuzaili, FECS Vice Dean, highlighted the importance of Computing and IT programs as well as the skills to acquire by students during their study. He accentuated the need for hard work and painstaking learning by students to develop and practice the programs’ acquired skills.

The Chancellor was escorted throughout the visit by Prof Mohammed Esharjabi, the Chancellor’s Counselor for Academic Accreditation and Computer Programs Supervisor, Dr. Mansour Ezzabadi, FECS Dean, Dr. Qais Ennuzaili, FECS Vice Dean and Head of IT Department, Dr. Najeeb Eshuraei, Head of Civil Engineering, and Mr. Suhaib Elyaheeri, the Administrative and Academic Officer at FECS.
