Development and Quality Assurance Center Holds “Quality & Academic Accreditation at Al-Nasser University” Workshop

In the presence of Prof Abdullah Tahish, the Chancellor, a workshop was held on 21 Nov 2021 at the University’s headquarter. The workshop was organized by Development and Quality Assurance Center under the slogan “Quality & Academic Accreditation at Al-Nasser University: Prospects and Renewed Ambition.”

At the event’s outset, a speech was given by Prof Tahish in which he noted to the importance of total quality to improve academic work. He also confirmed Al-Nasser University’s commitment to offering the best quality education in accordance with the standards of Academic Accreditation Council. Consequently, the University’s graduates are competent, well-qualified and meet the community’s professional demand.

The key lecture was delivered by Prof Omar Eshuja’, Dean of Development and Quality Assurance Center at Al-Nasser University. He started by reviewing the Center’s activities since its establishment in 2015 up to the present. His presentation tackled the following topics: key terms of Higher education quality, self-evaluation and academic accreditation, and finally the standards for program accreditation approved by Academic Accreditation Council in 2021.

The workshop was conducted in the presence of Mr. Ali Ethayfani, Secretary General, and 33 participants comprising deans of faculties, heads of departments, academic superintendents, and staff members.
