English Department Concludes Language Skills Course
A training course for developing the 1st level students’ language skills was concluded at Department of English, Faculty of Humanities, Al-Nasser University on Tuesday, April 3, 2018.
The eight-week training course went on for 50 hours during which the students’ English language skills were polished and fostered.
A party was organized by the participants to celebrate the completion of the course in the presence of Dr. Mohammed Shawqi (Dean of Humanities College), Dr. Mohammed EL-Quhali ( FAFS Dean) and Dr. Munir Al-Aghberi (Head of English Department).
Delivering a speech on the occasion, Dr. Al-Aghberi expressed his sense of pride over the tangible improvement in the students’ English proficiency. He valued the students’ hard work as well as the teacher’s efforts that made the course a success. He also thanked the University’s board for the continuous support of English department and students.
For her part, Miss Khawlah Sa’ed-Allah (the course trainer) noted to the success achieved by the course. She appreciated the keen interest paid by the head of the department to prompt the students’ English proficiency.
Many shows and activities were presented in the event by the students that testified to their developed skills.
It is noteworthy that a variety of English courses are held throughout the year by Department of English.
