FAS Students Visit Global Pharmaceutical Co.
Accounting students have been taken in a scientific visit to Global Pharmaceutical Industries, Sana’a. The visit was organized by Faculty of Administrative Studies to help students practise their theoretical learning.
Accompanied by Dr. Majeed El-Akhali (the instructor of Accounting Information Systems), the students were received by Ms. Sunia El-Hamami (Director of Training), Ameen El-Huthayfi, (Secretary of Director-General), and Mr. Isam El-Humays (Production Superintendant).
Soon after being welcome, the students got introduced by Ms Sunia to the Company’s accounting and administrative mechanism. Thereafter, reportage was presented that gave the students a briefing idea on the history of the company’s contribution to the country’s health development.
Moving around the Company’s various departments, the students’ could identify many accounting processes: financial operations and the document circulations going along with the processes of: production, storage, purchase, costs, and material exchange.
Furthermore, the students learnt about labor management mechanism in terms of the workers’ distribution, working hours, the importance of expenditure rationalization, and getting a high-quality product.
Showing an attentive reaction throughout their movement around the factory’s different sections, the students expressed their sense of satisfaction at the experience they derived from the visit.
