‘Future Careers & Requirements’ Training Session Held by Al-Nasser University

Under the auspices of Prof Abdullah Tahish, the Chancellor, a training session was held by Al-Nasser University on Sunday, 21 August 2022. Organized as part of the University’s admission and registration week, the session was held under the slogan “Future Careers and Requirements” and targeted the high school graduates.

At the outset, the Chancellor delivered a speech in which he greeted the participants as well as the guests. He also noted that Al-Nasser is committed to the fulfilment of one of its main goals, i.e. building the brilliant national intelligentsia whose innovative capacities are boundless, in addition to graduating a well-qualified cadre. To achieve such a goal, the University makes use of the highest possible standards of learning so as to contribute to the national wellbeing at the various fields of development.

The key training course was delivered by Dr. Mohammed Esharjabi, the international quality and academic accreditation expert and the Chancellor’s Quality Counselor and Computer Programs Supervisor. The training session aimed to introduce the participants to the most likely future opportunities as per the local, regional, and international job indications. The trainer talked about the future of the current professions, the expected jobs in the upcoming years, and the skills required for successfully keeping pace with the labor market.

Moreover, a presentation was made by Professor Omar Eshuja, Dean of Development and Quality Assurance Center, by which he reviewed the progress of Al-Nasser University throughout its 17-years life span of the dedicated educational enterprise. Besides, he introduced the University’s administrative staff including the Chancellor, deans of faculties, and heads of departments who work like a team together with the other staff and faculty members to ensure the success, quality, and efficiency of the entire educational process.

As a sideline, the Chancellor, escorted by the Quality Counselor, the Dean of Development and Quality Assurance, the Secretary General, deans of faculties and heads of departments, toured the admission and registration fair where the participant students stood in separate booths to introduce their respective specialties whereas the excellent research projects prepared by the University’s graduates were exhibited as well.

The event was held in the presence of Mr. Ali Ethayfani, the Secretary General, Professor Omar Eshuja, Dean of Development and Quality Assurance Center, Dr. Mansour Ezzabadi, FECS Dean, Dr. Fahd Elkhayat, FAFS Dean, Dr. Mohammed Shawqi, FH Dean, heads of departments, staff members, and some of the students’ family members. The event was concluded with handing over participation certificates to participants.
