I T’s Visit to Al-Amal Microfinance Bank

I T junior students of FECS, Al-Nasser University, had a visit to Al-Amal Microfinance Bank located at Baghdad St., Sana’a on May 14, 2017.

They were received by Mr. Mohammed Attiah (Director of Training) and Habib El-Areeqi (Director of Maintenance & Networks) who introduced the visitors to the technologies of the information systems used in the bank. They were given an idea about the department of information systems: duties, organizational system, working with networks and systems, and dealing with arising problems. The students got acquainted with users’ applications as well as the new technical equipment of the Bank.

According to El-Areeqi, I T students are advised to constantly keep pace with the fast technological development in their field noting to the importance of enhancing the practical skills of their theoretical learning step by step.

Mr. Jaber El-Absi (Academic Deputy of Al-Nasser’s I T Department) pointed out that taking students in such a visit is meant to give them a chance to closely identify the technical systems of Maintenance & Networks Dept. at Amal Microfinance Bank. It is part of the practical which help them practice theoretical study in real life experience.
