Open Day at English Department

An open day was organized by English Department, Faculty of Humanities to pay farewell to fourth-level students who are about to finish their course in Al-Nasser University. The event was held at the grand hall on May 5, 2017 in the presence of Dr. Mohammed El-Kuhali (FAFS Dean), Dr. Mohammed Shawqi (Dean of Humanities), Dr. Munir Al-Aghberi (Head of English Department), and the students of English.

Addressing the audience, Dr. Shawqi welcome them confirming that Department of English is the most active and prominent. He noted that the University has been determined to upgrade the Department’s academic program in addition to the short-term courses held continuously to develop the students’ language skills. He finally appreciated the students’ self-dependence organizing the event.

Dr. Al-Aghberi gave a speech in which he addressed the graduates urging them to carry on pursuing their dreams and ambitions. Wishing them a promising future, he stressed that they must be professional emissaries of Al-Nasser University.

Many entertaining shows were presented throughout the open day’s program which reflected the students’ proficiency in English. The program was concluded with handing over memorial plaques by the dean and head of department to graduates.
