Pharmacology Students Visit Global Pharmaceutical Industries

Pharmacology Fifth-level students have been taken in a scientific visit to Global Pharmaceutical Industries. The visit was organized by Department of Research and Training at Faculty of Medical Sciences.

At the outset, the students got briefed on the factory’s various sections. Thereafter, they moved, guided by the factories’ technicians and executives, to the Departments of: Quality Control; R & D; and Production.

The visit took place as part of a program implemented to expose students to the techniques and phases of pharmaceutical industry. It also came to confirm the good reputation that FMS enjoys as one of the best national colleges with practical-oriented learning. FMS always believes that field training is necessary towards exposing students to the complexities of real-life work environments and enriching their practical experience which together qualify them well for future careers. For their part, students felt quite satisfied at the great knowledge they derived from the visit.
